Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series has arrived. Here are the specifications, pricing, availability, colors, and more.

The Galaxy Tab S10 series and Galaxy S24 FE have been officially unveiled by Samsung, and there's a lot to take in (haha). Just two models are available this year in the Galaxy Tab lineup: the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. The Galaxy Tab S10 base is not currently available, and it's uncertain if it will come out at a later time or if Samsung has decided to not include it at all.

Galaxy Tab S1

If you have seen last year's models, you will recognize the design of the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and S10 Ultra. The metal back of both tablets is sleek and has a vertically stacked dual-camera system, a magnetic strip for attaching the S Pen, and an IP68 rating for water and dust protection. Moonstone Gray and Platinum Silver are the two colors they come in.
Despite keeping the same aesthetic, the new tablets make subtle changes to their size and weight. The Tab S10 Ultra is larger than the Tab S10 Plus and weighs between 718g (Wi-Fi) and 723g (5G), while the Tab S10 Plus is smaller than the Tab S10 Ultra and weighs between 571g (Wi-Fi) and 576g (5G). For anyone who is counting, that's about 10 grams lighter and about 0.01mm thinner than last year's lineup.

The Ultra still has that massive 14.6-inch notched AMOLED display, while the Plus still has its 12.4-inch screen. The refresh rate of both screens is 120Hz. But there's a new trick up their sleeve this year: both tablets now feature 'Anti-Reflection' technology, which should help when using the tablet outdoors or in brightly lit rooms.

Galaxy Tab S10 series: What’s on the inside

Let’s round off the rest of the specs that haven’t changed from last year, which include the camera setups. Both tablets have a 13-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide on the back, which is consistent with the Tab S9 series. The Ultra’s notch houses two 12-megapixel front-facing cameras (wide and ultrawide), while the Plus gets a single 12-megapixel ultrawide selfie camera.

Battery capacities haven’t changed either: 10,090mAh for the Tab S10 Plus and 11,200mAh for the Tab S10 Ultra. Both tablets still support 45W fast charging and come with a bundled S Pen. The big internal change this year is the chipset.

For the Galaxy Tab S10 series, the company has swapped out the Snapdragon chips for MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 Plus, which is a bit of a curveball. Samsung is claiming that the new processor delivers significant upgrades across CPU, GPU, and NPU performance for both tablets compared to the Tab S9 series. Stay tuned for our detailed reviews to see how these tablets perform in real-world situations.

The Galaxy Tab S10 series runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 on top. Samsung is pushing its Galaxy AI features hard this year, and the Tab S10 series is no exception. You’ll get Circle to Search, Note Assist for summarizing text, and Sketch to Image for turning your doodles into art. In fact, the official keyboard covers for the Tab S10 series now even have a dedicated Galaxy AI key. Much like the Windows Copilot key, this new button gives you instant access to Samsung’s AI assistant.

Galaxy Tab S10 series: Pricing and availability

Models

If you were worried about a price hike, you can breathe easy - Samsung is keeping the price tags the same as last year. The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus's starting price for the 256GB model is $999.99, while the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra's starting price for the 256GB version is $1,199.99. If you're someone who requires a lot of storage and RAM, there's a new high-end Ultra model that has 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage as well. Just to let you know, none of the Ultra models have mmWave 5G connectivity.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Ultra are going on pre-order today and will be available starting on October 3.
